PHILOSOPHY
The human body is an intelligent, self healing entity.
Our role is to assist your body via the skeletal system + nervous system,
so that its ability to function optimally can be fulfilled.
The intention of treatment is to optimise the bio-mechanics of your body
by restoring symmetry within the joints of the skeleton as a whole system
to improve its communication with your brain.
It is able to do this via your nervous system, directing your body
to work the way it is designed to.
This allows for better movement and less pain.
This includes back pain and peripheral pain
(such as knees or shoulders etc) as well as muscular pain.
The manual body work that is applied in our consultations
directly affects the skeletal system,
which in turn activates the nervous system.
-
Our skeletal system including the spine, is the primary reason
we are able to stand up and exist in gravity.
-
Our nervous system is made up of
our brain, spinal cord and a network of nerves throughout our body.
-
Within our skeletal system, the spine houses our spinal cord
which is the main pathway for information to travel
between our brain and body.

The unique methodology that we apply in our treatment aims to uncover
the core issues of musculo-skeletal conditions,
to allow your nervous system
- which drives the healing process,
to more efficiently give direction to your body to function normally.
A healing process led by the skeletal system usually occurs
in an ascending pattern
when the core issues are addressed.
Generally speaking, this is why we approach our consultations with
what is showing up at the foundations of the skeletal system
so that this upward movement can occur.
